What is OBERTOR, exactly?
OBERTOR comes from an Alsatian word — the upper gate. It’s the name of a family square in France where the owners grew up. A place of memory, of meals that lasted all afternoon. We brought that here.
Is there a dress code?
Come as you are. We’re not the Carrington. Clean and comfortable works fine. If you feel like dressing up, even better.
Breakfast all day — is that for real?
For real. Breakfast is served all day, every day. Order the Croque Madame at 3pm. We won’t judge.
Can I hire a private space?
Yes — we have three. The Vault, the Wine Room, and the Private Dining Room upstairs. Get in touch and we’ll sort you out.
